July 24th is International Self Care Day. Founded in 2011, the date was chosen as a reminder that self-care can be practiced 24-hours a day. Unfortunately, many people view self-care as indulgent and selfish. We are taught to put the needs of others ahead of our own, often to our own detriment. Women are particularly prone to ignore themselves.
