Have you ever felt shaped by the stories you were told—or the ones you tell yourself? Do you notice those stories influencing your choices, even when you want something different for yourself? Therapy can be a space to better understand those patterns and create meaningful change in the way you relate to yourself and others.
I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families who are looking to shift how they connect with themselves, their emotions, the people in their lives, and the world around them.
Because every person and family system is unique, therapy looks different for each client. In my work, I incorporate mindfulness practices to help connect mind, body, and emotions; Internal Family Systems (IFS) to support healing the younger parts of ourselves that continue to show up in the present; and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) interventions to help people navigate difficult conversations and strengthen connection in relationships.
If you are divorcing or questioning your marriage, I can help you envision a meaningful future. If your parents divorced when you were already an adult, I also understand the often-overlooked grief and loss that can come with being expected to simply “handle it” because you were no longer a child.
People practicing polyamory, kink, or other non-traditional relationship structures are welcome here.
As a self-identified anxious person and adult child of divorce who grew up in a high-conflict home, I deeply empathize with people searching for relational safety and unsure where to begin. Outside of work, you can usually find me tending to what soothes my soul—gardening, hiking, practicing yoga, cooking, or snuggling with my partner and pets.
